Lesson 7 · Plan your profit exit
Decide what will end the round before starting. A profitable display is not yet a realised profit, and a profitable individual order does not tell you the result of the whole basket.
1 · Know what the profit number covers

Profit, Today P/L and an individual order can cover different scopes. Inspect every intended position and the costs already included before evaluating the net of the round.
Use the actual executed result in History after closing. Open profit changes with price; costs and execution can make the final result different.
2 · Plan A: exit at an acceptable net result
Set a net result acceptable under your plan before entry. When it is reached, review all positions and costs and follow the exit. Do not keep moving the target merely because you want more.
A small result can be a planned end, not a failure to find the maximum possible profit. Illustrative numbers are not universal settings or income targets.
3 · Plan B: reassess at structure boundaries
Use price near the green/orange lines as a review point, together with direction, net result and risk. It is not an automatic Take Profit or a guarantee that price must reverse.
If structure changes, the current approach tries to finish the round with a small profit or small loss to lock risk. STOP closes all; verify execution afterwards.
4 · Plan C: review when an opposing candle closes
For a Buy, a completed downward candle may be a review point. For a Sell, a completed upward candle may be a review point. Distinguish a closed candle from the live rightmost candle.
This is a review condition, not proof that the whole trend has reversed. If the risk boundary is reached first, act on the risk plan; you do not need to wait for a candle close.
5 · After STOP, confirm the round really ended
Check that all intended positions have disappeared from Trade. Read History for actual price, size, costs and result. If anything remains, inspect execution errors and connection status before starting another round.
Do not select the exit style only after seeing how much money you want. Do not increase lot to rescue an exit plan or treat an on-screen signal as a guaranteed result.
Practise before opening the answer
1 · Your net-result target is reached but you want more. What should you review first?
Show answer and reasoning
The plan set before entry, the complete net result and costs. Do not move the target simply from greed.
2 · Price touches the orange line. Does this guarantee an automatic close and reversal?
Show answer and reasoning
No. Plan B uses it as a structural review point.
3 · A Buy has a falling live candle. Has an opposing candle-close condition happened?
Show answer and reasoning
Not while the candle is still live. But a risk limit may require action before it closes.
4 · One upward candle closes during a Sell. Is a full reversal certain?
Show answer and reasoning
No. It can be an exit-review condition without proving a new uptrend.
5 · STOP was pressed but a position remains. Start again immediately?
Show answer and reasoning
No. Verify the old round, execution messages and remaining risk first.
Your Demo homework
- Choose one exit approach on Demo and write its condition before starting.
- Record the net before sending STOP and the actual result after all intended positions close.
- Compare the result with the original plan rather than searching afterwards for the perfect peak.

v1.9.9 separates Radar trend from EA button color: orange breakout plus three closes beyond green confirms direction; touching opposite orange resets to Sideway. Read both TFs and warnings before START.
